None of the top scorers in any of the championships has a substantial lead going into the fall season and there are still many races before the year’s end. One race meet, Rolling Rock in Ligonier, Pa^ has closed down but a new meet, Great Meadow in The Plains, has been added to the schedule, offering a full and exciting season of racing.
“There are a lot of good things happening with this sport this year,” said Mr. Gallo. “Overall hunt meets are doing very well, we have some new meets and purses are up all around which should bring more owners and horses into the sport, and hopefully bigger crowds.”
