A memorial service for Mrs. Grimsley Reams will be held at the Masonic Cemetery in Culpeper Tuesday, October 2, at 11 a. m.
On Sunday, Septambsr 16, the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter presented a Medal of Honor toWflBam M. Carrigan of Washington, Va. who over a period of years has contributed much to Rappahannock County and its ritisens.
Mrs. Dale Metxinger, Regent, stated that Mrs. Walter King, President General NSDAR, has selected as her project for her tenure of office assistance in the restoration at Constitution Hall In Washington, D.C. Each chapter member throughout the United States is being ashed to contribute $400 fhr this restoration.
Mrs. Carlton Moorhead of Madison was welcomed into the chapter. Mrs. Moorhead is a transfer from the Ponte Vedra chapter, Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
Hie October 10 luncheon meeting will be held at Lake of The Woods Chib House at noon with Professor Robert Hodge as speaker. Reservations at $6.25 must be sent to Mrs. James F. Harknees by October 6.
