Other organizations paying special tribute are the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and the Federated Woman’s Club of Culpeper. Several churches are noting the significance of the week in church bulletins. Special displays have been arranged in the Culpeper Town and Country Library, The Comer Shelf book store, St. Luke’s Lutheran School and in the libraries of the Culpeper Junior and Senior High Schools.
Spot announcements about the Constitution provided by DAR will be broadcast over Radio Station WCVA and over school address systems by the Student Government Associations in Madison, Rappahannock High School and Culpeper Junior and Senior High schools. Shoppera and motorists will be reminded of their Constitutional rights by the Second National Bank’s flashing sign.
Americans are encouraged by the DAR to take this occasion to renew their pledge to support and guard our government by Constitution.
