Candidates to attend forum
, The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will hold its annual membership meeting at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in the Child Care and Learning Center pavilion in Washington, Va.
The meeting features a joint appearance by Robert Darby of Woodvilie and Jerry Wood of Warrenton, the Republican and Democratic (respectively) candidates for the 31 st District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.

Republicans hold rally
The Rappahannock Republican Committee invites all county residents to a rally 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Washington Fire Hall.
In attendance will be candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and the Virginia General Assembly.
Del. Raymond R. "Andy" Guest will be the special guest.
