The Sperryville Business Council will sponsor their annual Apple Harvest Festival Oct. 5 and 6. Special celebrations, sales and fall festive activities will be featured throughout the town. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
Mrs. James L. Knick of Oxen Hill, Md. was a Saturday overnight guest of her aunt, coming especially to visit her mother’s grave in Sperryville cemetery in honor of her birthday which was Monday, the 16th.
