Buzz performs in SperrYvfUe
Buzz Peele, an acoustic blues guitar player and pianist from Alexandria, takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 20 as the Woodsmoke Cafe's Friday night folk music series continues.
Mr. Peele is a songwriter who plays all originals, and has recently returned from a brief hiatus from performing "to have a baby."
He describes his music as "early primitive blues up to Duke Ellington, folk blues and rhythm and blues."
In the Washington, D.C. area he has performed at Whitey's in Arlington, the Warehouse in Alexandria, Tucson Cantina in D.C. and Jacques Cafe in Arlington.

Evening Under the Stars
Music by the 17-piece Big Band, the Tom Cunningham Orchestra, will fill the air in Old Town Warrenton as the fourth annual Evening Under the Stars is slated for 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, on Courthouse Square.
A fund-raising event for the Partnership for Warrenton, monies made will benefit the Warrenton Main Street Program revitalization fund.
The cost for the evening is $25 a person or $45 a couple. Reservations are limited and roust be received by Sept. 11.
