Amber Welch celebrated her eighth birthday on Sunday with a birthday party at the home of her parents Steve and Molly Welch. Her guests included John and Frances Dennis of Madison, Brenda Hitt of Castleton, Rose Smith and children Jason and Matthew of Warrenton, Ronnie and Ada Dennis and Jamie of Culpeper, Greg Clark, Brenda Stuphin, Steve and Linda Dennis and Chris and Candy Dennis, Vickie Miller, Erica, Jonathan and Jermery, Bryant and Holly Welch, Katie and Emily and Nathan Welch.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have Homecoming service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22. The Rev. A.D. Goodson, former pastor, will be the guest speaker. A covered dish dinner will follow at the fire hall immediately following the service. Everyone is welcome.
