Her realistic painting style captured the excitement of the race and the beauty of the Great Meadow course in its fall colors. The Virginia Gold Cup Association chose her painting be used in promotional materials for this year’s International Gold Cup Races; a poster and a limited edition print are being offered this fall through the association.
The international flavor of the fall Gold Cup, chaired by former FAA administrator Langhome Bond, is characterized by the encouragement of world-wide racing entries. Also, many social and political celebrities attend the races.
