She has also become involved in the Town of Washington since moving there in 1987 with her husband, Dr. William H. Young Jr. Prior to that, she and her family had lived in Castleton.
She serves the town on its Planning Commission and on the Board of Zoning Appeals. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a master’s degree from the University of Chicago.
Mrs. Young loves working—and especially doing so in Rappahannock.
