After reading the article, “Supervisors" in the Rappahannock News Sept. 12, I feel compelled to respond on behalf of the Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA).
The discussion taking place between the supervisors may lead some to believe the RAA was in some way responsible for the fact the Rappahannock Soccer League did not receive any funds from the financial support of $2,000 given us last year.
At the time we received the funds the only thing asked of the RAA wras it be used tow’ard the purchase of equipment. This was done, and the proper paperwork was given.
