Class reunion planned

The 1976 graduating class of Rappahannock High will have its 15th year reunion on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. Dance at fire hall

A dance to benefit the Washington Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the fire hall. The band, Tarragon will be featured. You must be 21. Advance tickets are $7 per person or $13 couple or at the door for $8 and $15, respectively.

Shooting match

The Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Department will begin its annual shooting match beginning Oct. 5 and continuing each Saturday until Nov. 16 and will run from 1-4 p.m. Only 12 gauge shotguns with no sleeves and no scopes can be used. Prizes of meat, cash and oysters will be awarded.
