Unrenovated gallery spaces in the barn complex on High Street behind the main gallery, expand the exhibition area further.

The three story Windrow Gallery building is a familiar Main Street structure, dating before 1885. (The 1885 map of Front Royal shows its existence. The barn and its adjacent structures show on later maps.)

The renovation took almost seven months, beginning March 16. The building was in severe disrepair throughout. Complete rebuilding necessitated laying new floors, moving and creating new stairs and windows, new walls and ceilings, new plumbing and electricity.
