know it to be true that in the county’s baseball and soccer programs, there are alot of people who have worked hard for many years to provide these much-needed children’s activities. As a mother with three boys that play baseball and two of the three playing soccer, I understand the importance of healthy constructive activities to keep children busy.
I think both organizations deserve the county’s and community’s recognition and support. I believe the supervisors’ discussion served only to alienate the two organizations and further divide our community interests as residents of Rappahannock County.
Our children see no boundary lines, they play with and against each other in soccer and baseball then walk off the field friends.
