For the past four years, Sen. Miller has served as Senate minority whip with the primary responsibility of seeing to it that the Republicans stick together in voting for, or against, measures in keeping with the Republican philosophy. His low rating by the Democrats should be regarded as proof of his effectiveness in causing the defeat of some of the liberal bills introduced by the Democrats.
If there has ever been a time we need to return Sen. Miller to the General Assembly and to elect more Republicans, it is now! We have had enough of the arrogance of one-party government. With their redistricting plan, they have shown us an example of how far they will go to protect their power.
The real poll will be taken on Nov. 5, when I trust a great majority of the voters of the 26th Senate District will express their approval of the fine job that Sen. Miller has been doing in Richmond by sending him back for a third term.
