literacy activities close to reality. Since the room was originally planned for use merely as storage space, there is considerable fitting out to be done.
A start has been made by installing the duct work that will supply the space with heating and air conditioning.
Also, the group has most of the furnishings it will need, and sufficient funds are on hand to complete the work this fall, thanks to the successful fundraising campaigns conducted the past two years and the generous cooperation of the Library Board.
The public is invited to join LVA Rappahannock on Sept. 28 to hear Mr. Smith and celebrate the group’s first birthday. They need the community’s continuing interest and support. x
