is the date 1852, the year the Stone House began its long life. Originally, the house had only three rooms and when Williams bought if from his mother, he bought it only for the land. The house was incidental and became a work camp for migrant labor.
The land is still used for an apple orchard and pasture for beef cattle but the house has changed considerably. Twenty five years ago, the long driveway was put in and the renovation began when a kitchen and mud room were added.
