work, time, and effort the steering committee and staff of Lord Fairfax Community • College gave for the “Dollars for Scholars” fundraiser gala to benefit the college’s Fauquier campus. It was rewarding for me to see such a special event come together with such a fine group of individuals who were all outstanding in many ways.
I believe your support for the “Dollars for Scholars” campaign fundraiser will benefit every individual in Fauquier, Rappahannock, and surrounding counties for many years to come.
The Lord Fairfax Community College-Fauquier Campus will be part of a larger focus by positively impacting the long term program for the economic development of the region. Companies are seeking a pool of highly trained workers...the community college system with its emphasis on vocational training offers an affordable source of this training.
I would also like to say thank you to all the supporters who attended this event. It was one “special evening” we will all remember for many years to come and for such a great cause!
