Annie Fincham

Annie H. Fincham, 88, of Culpeper died on Friday, Sept. 19 at her residence.

She was bom on June 22, 1909 in Rappahannock County to the late Haywood Haynes and Daisy M. Wharton.

She was a member of the Slate Mills Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons Billy L. Fincham and Joe L. Fincham both of Culpeper and James R. Fincham of Locust Dale; four daughters Ruth F. Kilby, Pauline F. Jenkins, Margaret F. Lee and Doris F. Creel all of Culpeper.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and one brother Bud W. Wharton of Warrenton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Fincham and a daughter Jean F. Schaffer.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 22 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. John Miller officiating.

Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Craig Shaffer, Ronnie Lee, Collis Jenkins, Tim Fincham, Billy Shaw and Glen Cave.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Culpeper Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 218, Culpeper, Va. 22701.

Found and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
