Getting rid of
yellow jackets
Upon reading John Trott’s
article in the Sept. 3 issue of the Rappahannock News about being stung by yellow jackets, I am prompted to let everyone know about how to get ride of the yellow jackets.
They always have their nest in the ground and return to the nest each evening before dark. When all have returned, dump or rapidly pour a pail of boiling water into the nest. You will never see them again.
