• No artificial flavors;
• No added colors, except vegetable colors;
• No synthetic sweeteners and few added natural sugars;
• No hydrogenated oils, cottonseed, palm, or palm kernel oils;
• No bleached or bromated flours;
• No synthetic preservatives or irradiation used;
• Organic ingredients and products must meet the appropriate state laws, or whatever federal law supersedes it.
Consumers are urged to read nutrition labels that list ingredients in order of predominance by weight, and listings of fats, sodium and sugar.
