What do the National Hockey League and wine have in common? More specifically, what do the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Oasis Winery have in common?
An avid Pittsburgh Penguins’ fan, I was surprised to discover a link between the team and winery. Recently, on a visit to the Oasis Winery with outof-town guests, I was delighted learn that Oasis is the official winery of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
On display in the wine tasting room is a large group picture of the Penguins autographed by the great Mario Lemieux!
In addition, there is also a puck with his signature. Another display includes a hockey stick signed by Ron Francis.
