Concert at RCHS

The Rappahannock Band is having a concert for Headwaters at the high school auditorium on Friday, Sept. 26. Everyone is invited.

Fall series to begin

A once-a-month fall series “Sharing and Caring” facilitated by Carol Lucking, MS, will be held Sept. 24 from 7 to 9 p.m.at Rappahannock Healing Arts Center in Sperryville. Attention Deficit Disorder is being diagnosed in alarming numbers in the U.S. For additional information call 987-7204. The series will continue on Oct. 22 with Drug Abuse in our Community.

Ragged Mountain activities

Oct. 11, hike to Headwater of the Rappahannock River with Ragged Mountain Resource Center, meet at Mountainside Market from 9 to 9:30 a.m., return by midafternoon.

Oct. 12, “From the Blue Ridge to the Bay — Everything Connects with Water” benefit concert for Water Education programs in Rappahannock at Oldway Art Center in Sperryville from 2 p.m. until dark.

On Oct. 16, Full moon hike of Old Rag Mountain and on Oct. 18 Rappahannock Water Monitoring Network meeting at the Rappahannock Extension Office from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. For information call 987-3366.
