The baying of hounds was prominent in the area around Boston last week as 360 fox hounds competed in field trails sponsored by the Northern Virginia Fox Hunter’s Association.
The county convention where farmer-chosen delegates will elect farmers to fill vacancies on the Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee will be held Sept. 29, 1967 at 9 a.m. in the Rappahannock ASCS County Office, according to H.S. Barksdale, chainpan, ASC County Committee.
Rappahannock Girl Scout Troop No. 380 will hold its first fall meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28 at Trinity Episcopal Parish Hall, Washington, at 3:30 p.m.
J.R. Fishbume, research historian for the Virginia Historic Landmarks Commission, Richmond gave an interesting and informative lecture to the Rappahannock Historical Society at the Library on Tuesday stressing local landmarks.
