Doug Morris, recently appointed Superintendent of Shenandoah National Park, encourages the public to join him and his staff, and veterans of the Civilian Conservation Corps, on Saturday, Sept. 27, as they share stories and celebrate the placement of the world famous Skyline Drive Historic District on the Virginia Historic Landmarks Register and on the National Register of Historic Places.
Ceremonies will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Skyland Conference Hall (mile 42 on the Skyline Drive).
