Revival and homecoming Three nights of revival services will be held at the Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 24 thru Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The ministers for the three services will be Wednesday, Pastor Thomas Gibbs of Front Royal, Thursday, Pastor Merlin Shorb of Flint Hill and Friday, Pastor James Bridgett. On Sunday, Sept. 28 will be annual homecoming services at 11 a.m. with the Pastor John R. Pendleton. Lunch after morning service. Pastor James Little from Waterloo Baptist Church will be speaking at 3 p.m.

Missionary Day set The First Baptist Church will celebrate Missionary Day on Sunday* Oct. 5 at 3 p.m. The speaker will be Alfreda Dean and will be accompanied by the Promise Land Youth Choir. A covered dish lunch will be served after the morning service. The pastor Rev. Wendall Grant and congregation invites the public.
