Sieber tries to work aerobic, anaerobic, flexibility and resistance training exercises into the routines of all of her clients.

“Running and cycling are aerobic activities; muscle training is anaerobic,” Sieber said.

She uses the club’s LifeLines program for starters.

“LifeLines covers all four areas in one cross-training program,” she said. “It warms up the body and covers aerobic and anaerobic stretching, muscle stretching and abdominal workout and flexibility.

“In an hour, you do all four areas of cross-training,” she added. “Then you can go to the weight room for specific weight training and a specific cardiovascular workout.”

Many golfers frequent the Old Tbwn Athletic Club, not so much for conditioning, but to develop muscles used specifically in that sport.
