What about hypnosis?

Hypnotism is not something Carolyn Libby uses often, but it does “an excellent job for certain things; it’s good at enforcing a person’s will,” to achieve an end that is truly desired. Smoking cessation and weight loss are two examples of goals for which hypnotherapy is especially effective.

Libby uses her voice to help clients achieve a “deeply relaxed,” or hypnotic state. Not so mysterious, “we go there (the state of hypnosis) on a daily basis on our way to sleep or waking,” Libby explained.

Not in competition with or antagonistic toward the mainstream medical world, Libby enjoys working together with clients’ physicians to help people achieve the life changes they desire.

“I’m just a facilitator,” Libby emphasized, “the healing is something people do themselves.”
