Kinesiology is also known as “muscle testing."
Whenever someone says “You better sit down first” before relaying bad or surprising news, it is in recognition of the physical effect of emotions on one’s muscles.
Kinesiology is the starting point of N.O.T. and “One Brain.” A combination of muscle and verbal responses helps a kinesiologist identify underlying problems, as well as what the body needs in order to heal itself.
In “One Brain,” Libby said the idea is to “erase fear of pain on a certain subject, so that when that subject comes up again the person has different choices, rather than just reacting to fear of pain fromthe past.”
The treatments of problems may involve rubbing neurovascular or neurolymphatic points and/or acupuncture points on various “pathways of energy” called “meridians.” Libby explained that there are 14 meridian pathways, including “central and governing,” heart, lung, bladder and other organs.
