Official Voting Information
The Constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote. In order to be eligible to vote in the general election to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 1997, you must be registered no later than Monday, October 6, 1997. For the convenience of eligible citizens, the voter registration office of Rappahannock County, located at 262-A Gay Street, Courthouse complex will be open:
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to
4:00p.m. and the following Saturdays: • October 4,1997 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • October 25,1997 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • November 1,1997 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • November 1,1997 is the last day for this election that absentee ballots may be voted in person by qualified applicants.
