Whether it’s a routine tuneup, an oil change or rotating the tires, Americans are used to thinking about preventive maintenance when it comes to their cars. Everyone wants to avoid that expensive pound of cure.
Preventive maintenance is the message behind Fauquier Hospital’s annual Alive And Kicking health and fitness festival, scheduled for Sept. 27 and 28. Now in its ninth year, Alive and Kicking is a celebration of prevention — the key to good health.
Each year hundreds of people flock to Hospital Hill for the annual health fair which is the biggest part of Alive and Kicking. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, the hospital will put all of its resources to work to help people identify health 'problems before they become difficult to correct or lifethreatening.
