Lije enrichment series continues

Weekly Life Enrichment series will continue on Thursday evenings at Rappahannock Healing Arts Center from 7 to 9. On Sept. 25, Healing Music Elements by Beth Levick will be presented. On Oct. 2, Stretching for Health will be held. Learn stretching techniques based on yoga postures with an Alexander Technique teacher, Karen Loving, NCTMB offering hands-on assistance. There will be a $5 donation fee to the center.

Boosters selling tickets

The Rappahannock County High School Athletic Boosters are beginning their main major fund raiser of the year. For a donation of $20, you could stand to win the grand prize of $1,000, second place prize of $750 or a third place prize of $250. Prizes will be given away Dec. 16, 1997 at the Boy’s Varsity basketball game.

Mother's Coop, play group to meet

The Mother’s Coop and Children’s Play group continues to meet every Thursday morning at the Rappahannock County Park from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. All are welcome! For information call Brenda VanNess at 987-9527.

Farm Bureau meeting set

The Rappahannock County Farm Bureau will hold its annual meeting on Friday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington. All members are invited to attend.
