He lived out the Bible reference in II Timothy 2:15, Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 14 at First Baptist Church in Washington., with Rev. John R. Pendleton officiating.
Interment was held at Berean Baptist Memorial Cemetery in Washington, Va.
Pallbearers were members and friends of the First Baptist Church family.
Arrangements were handled by W.C. ThompsonFuneral Home in Culpeper.
